For
photographers who manipulate/enhance their images or require digital
files from their film, scans from our HR-500 scanner are available in a number of resolutions - for applications
ranging from web design to high end portraiture. Our color scans
add DIGITAL ICE technology, which reduces defects
such as transparency processing marks. We can scan to jpegs or RGB Tiff files.
We
can write these scans to CD or DVD for $5.00 set-up per disc
or session.
Scans from B&W negs may have visible dust and imperfections (Digital ICE is not available). The base of B&W films doesn't allow Digital Ice to see the images properly).
For 35mm slides we also offer 18MB (uncompressed) Economy Scans to jpeg (Digital ICE is not available for these Scans).
Which
scan size is right for you?
Internet scans are good for viewing on a monitor but too small for good prints.
Small scans are good for photo prints up to 5x7 or inkjet prints up
to about 11x14.
Medium scans are suited for photo prints up to 11x14 or inkjet
posters.
Large scans are good for photo prints between 16x20 and 20x24
size.
