We process
all C-41 color negative films and B&W negative films according
to manufacturer specifications. Films are processed in automatic machines
where temperature, time, agitation and replenishment are electronically
controlled. Our film processors are constantly monitored. We
also maintain a back-up power generator, so processing will be uninterrupted
in the case of a power outage. For E-6 (slide/transparency) film processing, please see our E-6 Processing section.
Push processing involves giving the film longer time in the developer (to compensate for
under-exposure). We dont recommend push processing, but we can accommodate
such requests (up to 2 stops) at an additional fee of $8.99 per batch. Because
of the shorter development times with current chemistry, we can't accomodate
requests for pull processing.
Cross-processing
of E-6 (transparency) films in C-41 chemistry may give unpredictable
results and carries a $7.99 per batch surcharge. Proofs are available from cross-processed negs, printed digitally, with the additional cost of Scans at time of Proofing. Contact
sheets are also available, printed directly from the films.
Infrared
B&W processing carries a $8.99 per batch surcharge. Please
clearly mark infrared films, so they are not inadvertently exposed
to safelights.
Minimum charge for Sheet Film Processing is $9.99 per order.
Minimum charge for C-41 Long Roll Film Processing is $7.99, based on $.59 per foot.
