The software runs on most flavours of Windows and Mac OS X. If you don't have the current version of Java installed, the program will help you download it. It may take a few minutes to load up the program because we have many products. Most Prices aren't listed in the S.O.S. program (sizes can fall under different print categories). Once you've downloaded the software, you are prompted for your name, address, e-mail and Customer ID (If you don't have one enter 200). If you need to make changes to your information, click on the My Information button. Now you can start using S.O.S.

The Left side of the window is where you work with Products. The Sizes button opens menus with the different Photo Products we have. The Options button shows different ways you can customize or finish your prints. We suggest keeping Sizes and Options open as palletes beside your main window like this. The Zoom slider lets you enlarge a portion of the image to fill the Product. Rotate Layout rotates the Product orientation in increments of 90 degrees. Rotate Image turns the image in 90 degree increments. The arrow beside the button allows any angle of rotation. If you mouse over any button, a tool tip tells you what the button does.

Your images will be on the right side of the window. Click on the Folder icon to tell S.O.S. where your image files are. S.O.S. brings up thumbnails of your images. The Zoom button increases or decreases the size of the thumbnails. Drag the images to the Product window. You see a low res proxy version of your image. Click the Add to Order Button to choose this Product for your order. This becomes the Review Order button. You can change size, quantity, rotation and cropping. You can also choose whether the images will be printed Color, B&W or Sepia (and instantly see the results). Our User's Manual is available in pdf format.
